Oh, guys? And by guys, I guess I mean anyone who might be interested. Whoever you may be. Err, like I was going to say, I'm up on a mind-clearing sort of mountain retreat with Tifa. It's pretty gorgeous up here. I'd never actually done the mountain thing, before now. I'm happy to get the chance.

Can't say I have, either. We don't really have mountains back on the islands. Just water, pretty much.

At least you can swim in water. Mountains are more like the eye-candy of landscapes. They're nice to look at, but it's a little harder to find any depth to them. Well, not unless you're some sort of spelunker geek.

For a few days--it should be nice and rejuvenating for both Tifa and me.

Maybe cranky was a little on the over-the-top side. But I'll take it back when I see you smile more tha--huh. Actually, now that I put on my thinking cap about it, we've never actually met outside of these wacky journals yet.

Can't disagree with that. Just watch your footing... I don't want to open this damn thing and find out that one of you broke your neck.

I'll be at my carefulest. I'm not exactly keen on any neck-breakage, either.

I choose to interpret that as a challenge, by the way. Sort of an elicit-a-smile-or-bust deal.
