Willow's gone home.

[ the broadcast begins abruptly and buffy's voice is hard. not soft and vulnerable like when she had announced xander's disappearance. this is because she has had a full hour to herself in willow's now-empty room. she had gone in to set a batch of freshly laundered sheets on the witch's bed, all set out for when she came back from being kidnapped, only to find all of willow's things were missing. another sunnydaler went home.

so after her time alone in the room, she retrieves her journal and makes the carefully enunciated announcement. ] She'd been lab-coat-napped but -- but her things're gone, now. Gone.

[ buffy has made so many of these announcements; her brevity and her business-like execution come from experiencing this kind of pain just a little too much. she will sit with the journal open on her lap for a little longer because she knows there will be people who will be able to feel better by giving their regards.

later, she will be making her way from the village centre to the barracks for some old-fashioned, non-simulated anger management. feel free to accost her at will. ]
