Oh, bollocks. All Hallows' Eve is comin' up, isn't it?

Mmhm. And I'm hoping for a non-repeat of last year. I approve of parties, but not of rogue wing-snapping monsters.

[ snort. ] Least this place is sorely lacking in Pylean empath demons. No risk of being compelled to be positively, disgustingly full of pep, because his mind mojo's all out of whack.

[ ...spike, that probably made no sense to the girl. remember, the sunnydale crew, sans andrew, are not familiar with angel's team. ]

Pylean, love. It's a type of demon, from another dimension. Not a bright orange construction cone. One of Angel's people. Lorne. Had his sleep removed, messed with his empathic abilities. Compelled all of us to do whatever he told us to do. I was thinking positively, Wesley and Fred were totally hammered, Gunn was pissing everywhere - quite literally, I'm afraid - and Angel was slee--

[ touchy subject. abandon ship! ]

So, pie, eh?

Y-yeah. Pie. Pumpkin, hopefully. Maybe from scratch.

[ as much as spike would just love to ruin his grandsire's credibility by informing the world of how he did the liaison several times, he would like to avoid dealing with buffy's left over...whatever with angel. that rivalry didn't exist here and fighting with a man who wasn't here over her wasn't worth the effort. ]

You're going to cook. Right. Because that always goes well.

Bake, not cook. [Pause.] And maybe I just need a good teacher.

Seen you do a bit of that, too. Nice view from the vicinity of being tied to a chair.

[ and after halloween is thanksgiving. ...spike fears all of this. ]

I won't tie you to a chair this Thanksgiving, Spike.

[At least, not unless you want her to.]

Might have to in order to get me near that table.

[ this all depends on what being tied to a chair involves. ]

Andrew says he'll teach me. I'm sure it'll be just...fine.

[Even she doesn't sound convinced.]

Andrew? Huh. Suddenly I'm experiencing flashbacks to him yellin' at potentials while wearing an apron, oven mitts and waving a spatula around like a sword.

Things were...slightly less complicated, then. Pardon me while I quell my nostalgia.

House full of screaming, hormone-driven teenage girls was less complicated?

Than wings? And fictional people and shady scientific organizations and enough time continuum wackiness to put some of Andrew's sci fi shows to shame. At least then had things with faces I could hit. That helped.
