Rock the Drop TODAY!

Give a book away today and Rock the Drop!

People love free stuff, and people who love to read love free books. Today, Thursday, April 14th, folks all over the world will be dropping the book(s) of their choice in a public place - on the counter at a diner, on a seat in the subway or the bus, in a school cafeteria or the break room at work, on a park bench. Simply click on the bookplate image below, print it out, paste it inside of the book, and leave the book in a public place for another reader to discover! (Some people also put a Post-It note on the cover that says, "I'm free!" or "Snag this free book!")

Click above to download the bookplate.

When you drop a book, send a photo or video or report to readergirlz@gmail.com and tweet your drop with the #rockthedrop tag! Both readergirlz and Figment will be posting updates on the blog all day, and one lucky dropper will win a full set of 4 books from the Ruby Oliver series by this week's featured author E. Lockhart!

Rock the Drop is brought to you by readergirlz and Figment in honor of YALSA's Support Teen Lit Day. For more information about Rock the Drop, please visit the readergirlz website and check out Rock the Drop Eve: A To-Do List by Kelly at Figment.
