so we're in kansas city.
and my dad took me to see hot hot heat and snow patrol tonight!
they were in okc last night and i was really bummed that i wouldn't be able to go. so dad saw in the paper that they were playing here and asked if i wanted to go.
it was probably the best concert i've been to. hot hot heat has so much energy, i couldn't get over it.
and snow patrol was just...wonderful. i've wanted to see them live for a long time. there were a couple of songs that had me jumping up and down, belting the lyrics. i felt like i was fifteen again, but it was great. even dad liked snow patrol.
i got a hot hot heat shirt that looks great on me, and a snow patrol one that's too big (they didn't have any smalls left). i don't want to cut it up, so i think i'll give it to jon. who i miss.

p.s. i also lost my voice. it sounds like i'm at ihop after a rally.
