I decided to do a quiz on Blogthings and saw a strange flashing on the left-hand side of the screen. It looked like the half-seen blinky bit that comes up when I'm playing Diablo and someone signs in on MSN Messenger. Now it could have been a glitch, but it's more interesting to the conspiracy theorist in me to believe that it was subliminal advertising, which is illegal in other media. Some evil corporation is paying to have their message flashed up there, to create in me a strange desire for something that I can't buy because it's only available in the USA. This may well make me insane. I now have a strong drive to buy something I can't even have, or else to get my penis enlarged.
