[Willow. It has been a month and some since Buffy has last heard that voice and she isn't sure whether to be pleased or paranoid. Getting stuck here, after all, is no real reason for celebration.]

Will? [She asks, tentatively.] Will, it's me.

Buffy? [The voice seems to be coming from the book thing she's holding.]

Buffy, where are you- OW! [Okay, suddenly moving hurts. Or well, maybe sitting back down with the thing and resting her back against the fountain had been a bad idea.]

[voice]

I'm in the book. I mean--I'm not really in the book. More like the book is a phone. And we're talk--you know what? Never mind. Details.

[Then the ow and Buffy is already looking for her shoes.] The more important question is where are you?

...You can explain it to me later? [Because knowing Buffy, the distance between them is about to get drastically smaller.]

I'm not sure. I'm by a fountain and there's lots of people wandering around.

The fountain? [She echoes, sounding vaguely surprised.] That's...good. That makes it easy. No trudging through every square inch of woods trying to find a cl--[the sound of a door slamming shut.]

You know where that is? [Oh good. Relief and then a little worry.]

[Soon, Buffy comes half-jogging by the fountain. She is even sporting her own pair of vaguely cute, red wings.]

Willow. [She reaches for a hug.] Hi.

[voice]

[The sight of Buffy makes Willow stand up again, though her journal and clothes are still next to the fountain. She returns the hug, but she's kind of staring at Buffy's wings now.]

Buffy... you have wings. [Like wtf how have you not noticed this?]

[and by voice i mean action]

[slaying]

Guess what? So do you.

[She jabs a friendly finger in the direction of Willow's wings.] It's like this place's version of a swag-bag at the Oscars. Only instead you get wings that don't work and a tacky barcode.

[Takes her a minute, but she looks around for the wings... as they lift up for her to see.]

I have wings... they're yellow. Xander's broken crayon is haunting me! [Yeah, excuse her for a second. She's a little out of it.] I think I'd rather have the Oscar version. That has to be better.

All right. Is it far? A-am I... Do you mind if I stay with you? At least until I get to know the town better?

[ Willow would prefer to stay wherever Buffy is staying, but she won't insist if things are tight without her. ]
