Otakon Report! YAY!
Well, Otakon has come and gone and it was great! Well, except for the whole standing in line part...
Anyways, we actually got down there on time and without getting lost once! We didn't take our customary trip through the ghetto lol! Ended up having to stand in line for 2.5 hours to get our registration. Every year we get the long line! But next year we're gonna go on Thursday and just get pre-reg so we can go to all the cool stuff Friday morning.
We pretty much ran around like idiots on Friday trying to see everything. Besides, we had to show Rachel around since it was her first con. :) The music videos were cool this year. But cosplay sucked... Nothing really good except the last skit which was like Muppets meets Utena. ^_^ Oh, and the hentai room was kinda scary... Too many horny men... lol!
Um... for once we didn't spend tons of money in the dealers room. It's like major claustrophobia in there anyway! Oh, and our costumes turned out great! Got our picture taken a few times. :) No wigs for me next year though... Too much hassle.
Ok, I'll try to put up some pics as soon as I either scan them or get the disk copied from Jen. Maybe I'll even put up a few from the beach... We made the coolest turtle palace ever! Lol! We even managed to find a ddr machine on the boardwalk, although we didn't play it since we were soaking wet and would have just fallen on our butts if we tried! ^_^
Oh, and for Karen and Chelle: You are *so* coming next year if I have to fly up there and drag you on a plane myself! lol!
