Title: Two Different Kinds of Love
Pairing: Amelia/Naga, and a little bit of Amelia/Lina.
Rating: PG [Rated for very little implied incest]
Genre: f/f
Type: fanfic

This is my VERY first time posting here, and my FIRST Amelia/Naga fanfiction. It started out as a simple drabble idea, then the more I began to write it out, the bigger the idea formed in my head, so I’m a little nervous about feedback. n.n; But please, let me know how I did. This is basically a heart-to-heart talk between the two sisters. Oh, and it also takes place in an alternate universe, so I hope it’s okay. It only took me about fifteen or twenty minutes to write this...okay, enough ranting. On to the story!

8:30 that Saturday morning

She woke up with a start, to the upbeat ringing of her cell phone. Her head still beneath the covers, she groggily reached out for it, fumbling in between the different assortments of comic books, until she finally got it, pulling it back and flipping it open, she held it to her ear.

“Hello?”

-insert very loud and obnoxious laugh-

”OH-HO-HO-HO-HO-HO! Good morning, Amelia!”

“………….”

“Hello? Amelia? Are you there? Can you hear me?”

-holds the cell at arm’s length-

“…………yes, I can hear you perfectly, Onee-chan, once my ears stop ringing.”

Amelia clenched her teeth together, and with a tired sigh, she held the cell back against her ear, slowly pushing her covers aside and she sat up, rubbing her eyes with her free hand.

“Ugh, did you have to call me so early? You know what time it is?”

-sounding serious now-

“…..Amelia, don’t you realize what day today is? You did ASK me to wake you up at this hour. Hmph. Show some appreciation that I’m actually doing this favor for you, and for her, of all people….”

-sharply-

“Onee-chan.”

She heard a sigh on the other end.

“Amelia………I’ll be waiting at the usual place. Don’t be late.”

“Hai…”

As she stepped out of her apartment, she paused to look over herself. Nice yellow T-shirt, comfortable green khaki shorts, clean white socks and a new pair of sneakers. On her wrists, bright pink pentagram jewelry, and even a pair of matching earrings just for this one occasion. Her pink purse slung over her right shoulder, Amelia held her breath, locking the door and she murmured to herself.

“Well, this is it. It’s now, or never.”

Today was the day she would be making her final decision.

12:00 that afternoon.

“You look more and more beautiful each time I see you.”

Amelia blushed an adorable shade of deep red once she took a seat. It was a cute little café that was not too far off from her apartment building.

“You never cease to draw attention to you as well, Onee-chan.”

A few heads had turned to glance at Naga, who was dressed, well, not very conservatively, so to speak.

“Hmph, they’re just jealous because we’ve been both blessed with beauty far behind the “normal” standards. Now, on to more important matters.”

”Oh, right.”

Amelia sighed, and she shifted her gaze outside the window.

Naga, however, rested her eyes on her sister. She loved her dearly, and only wanted what was best for her. It was just difficult accepting ‘whom’ Amelia had chosen to be with.

Reaching out to take Amelia’s hand into her own, her hand very soft and caressing, Naga paused, wondering how to approach this situation. It was not easy considering the fact she was a vital part of Amelia’s life, which made it worse since had been a “missing” vital part of her life.

Amelia blushed deeper at this, but did nothing to protest, welcoming the embrace from her beloved older sister.

”Onee-chan……..”

“Amelia, I realize you’re growing up. You’re no longer the little sister I remember, and sooner or later, you’ll be leaving the nest and starting your own life. I know that….I haven’t been around much in your earlier years since Mother’s death. I feel guilty for that, and….well, I want to make it up to you.”

“Onee-chan…?”

”Let me finish. You’ve become a beautiful young lady. But you will always be the little sister in my eyes. No matter where you go, I promise that I will always be watching you from afar. I swear it on our blood. I only want what’s best for you, and what makes you happy. I know this must be a difficult decision for you, but no matter what you do, I will never leave you.”

Amelia smiled even wider, and shifted her gaze to meet her sister’s. She squeezed her hand, nodding her head.

“I love you, Onee-chan. I, too, will never leave you, even when I’m with her. You will always have a special place in my heart.”

Naga smiled, squeezing Amelia’s hand in return, then closing her eyes, she paused momentarily, collecting the rest of her thoughts.

She knew it was difficult from the start, when her sister had “secret” meetings with Lina without her knowledge. But it was not like Amelia “wanted” to go behind her back, she wanted to tell her, she just needed time, and she understood that.

It still hurt, and she was jealous of the two being so close together, but she was in no position to scold Amelia for it. Not after leaving her for so many years then finally coming back into her life. If Amelia would let her back in, she would do whatever it took to make up for those lost years.

“Onee-chan……it’s almost time. I should…..”

Amelia was suddenly cut off by a very brief, but warm kiss by her sister.

On the lips.

Stunned, the younger girl widened her eyes, and she smiled.

“Amelia, as far as I am concerned, I trust you. Be happy with her. Go on now, you’ll be late.”

“Hai, thank you, Onee-chan. You both are very important people to me. Even when I’m with her, you are always on my mind.”

Standing up, Amelia turned to leave, but pausing in her tracks, she turned back, facing her sister. Running into her arms, she hugged Naga tightly, fighting back tears.

Ruffling her hair, Naga closed her eyes and returned the loving embrace. She had every intention of keeping her promise. To spend more time with her sister when she was not with Lina.

Without another word, Amelia quickly pulled away, and she ran out of the café without looking back.

Naga watched her run off, preparing to leave the café herself. She pulled out her cell, flipped it open, dialed a few numbers, and held it to her ear.

“Lina, you had better take care of her, just like I did, when I took care of you. Happy birthday.”
