Waterfront Film Festival

So, I haven't updated here in the last few days.

As most of you know by now, I was at the Waterfront Film Festival on Saturday. I went there with the intention of having a conversation with Kyle Gallner, who had been confirmed as attending on Saturday, and participating in the Q and A after Cherry was shown there.

Kyle didn't show up.

I'm not sure what happened, and I felt like it would be rude to ask the other participants of the Q and A where he was, so I didn't bother with that.

I'm kind of annoyed that I paid $150 for two day passes, but the movies made up for it.
Of the five movies I had planned on watching, I only saw three. I was too hungry to really care about seeing Norman, so I went to breakfast instead. I started to fall asleep during Skateland and figured it would be best if I took a nap during the next movie scheduled, so that I would be able to sit through One Week and Cherry without falling face-first out of my seat.

Cherry was better than I had even expected... but One Week was the best movie that I've seen in awhile.

Last night and this morning, I felt like I'd really missed out on an opportunity when Kyle wasn't even there, like he was supposed to be. But then I got to thinking that I was just seeing it backwards.
You know who really missed out? Kyle Gallner.
Let's face it, I'm awesome.
