(no subject)
so i think i'm the only person at keystone who has asked her teachers for summer reading. well, mr. spedding actually offered to give me european history reading, but whatever. i'm going to see if mr. howk has anything i can read on virology... though chemistry would be more helpful for next year. haha mr. howk needs to stop letting his students read The Hot Zone by Richard Preston. Rosa read it and decided she wanted to be a BL4 virologist and die of ebola, and then... three?... years later i did the same. i'm reading The Origin of Species now, but i'm going to start The Andromeda Strain as soon as i'm done.
i think i'm going to find some virology communities to join... might help later on in my senior year when i'm trying to find a good university...
i also think i might try science fair next year. i've never really had any good ideas for a project that i would actually be interested in doing, but i think i do now... i just need to talk to mr. howk about supplies and if it will even be possible lol...
