"It's a belated birthday party... party, Buff!" I walk over to Buffy and take the axe out of her hands before giving her a extra big cuddly Willow hug. I'm not one for bein' cut into iddy-biddy pieces before I can give the belated birthday girl her gift!

"Tara sorta figured that since last week was horribly dramatic, you could use something to destressify yourself, even if that isn't a word," I roll my eyes and give her a grin.

"Aww, you shouldn't have! Wow, how'd you get...sheesh, like everyone and their brother here?" I hug her warmly, then start greeting the others.

"This is too much, and very sweet!"

I step forward to smile at Buffy. "Hey, Buffy. Happy Birthday! Let's hope this one doesn't turn into something horrible and full of property damage and personal injury, hmm?" I say, remembering the few years that I was around for her birthdays...they never turned out well.

"Good to see you, too, Cordy," I say, in my happy voice. "Please, we already had the Buffy birthday crisis last week."
