I wish I could blog from my commute, because I think of all kinds of interesting shit when I'm driving.

By the time I get into bed and I feel like writing... I am dead to the world and desperately vacillating between wanting to write down my day's food intake on fitday.com and wanting to make like my cats and pass out.

Mike's with his family this week and I have no one to blame for my wakefulness besides myself. I haven't for a while though since he's been an angel about finding rides.

By the way, if anyone speaks Russian and wants to act as a monitor for an NGO (lots of work in Georgia, if you like warzones and adventure, but I believe they're centered throughout E. Europe) let me know IRL. It's probably unwise for me to put that out on my blog, since bossman asked me, but my boss is a really likable, relaxed, and funny person (and I don't think he wastes a lot of time on the internet) so hopefully he'd understand this mess. I'm completely sincere about that by the way, my workplace is awesome and I enjoy it greatly (the happy hours / bbqs / flexible hours for, well, office lizards don't hurt, but I think it's fair to say that despite how shitty life's been, my career is going quite well).

Apparently the internet vernacular for getting fired from your job because of an internet blog is getting "dooced." Has anyone else heard of this before? Is it pronounced "dooced" like "deuced" or like "dooked?" Like "My company dropped me like a deuce" or perhaps "Gad-dooks! I got fired!"
