...well
Well yesterday was an...interesting day. I go to bestbuy in the morning since jim didn't seem to want me to go over there anymore (he probably got a new game or something), and i do this with the crap car that dies if you stop. Freeway wasn't so bad at the time, and the way up is ok. But on the way back they have an onramp closed (i dont rember whcih one it was, but it was the one i wanted to get on) so i have to take side streets home, which is DEATH with all them stop lights. So the car dies 3 times on the way back, once when i tried to just put it in neutral so i didnt have to hold the brake, but that killed it, another because i guess i didnt give it enough gas, and finally at the stop sign right before my street; i didn't even stop, i just slowed down, but hahaha it didn' care it died anyways. Then i finally get home and i gotta park it and it dies 500 times while im doing that (since i gotta park it awkwardly in the drive way, its basically parrallel parking, and i can't even REGULAR park so...yeah that took a while). So i get home and the DSL is going hella fucking slow, and i spend a few hrs trying to figure it out, and i quit for the sake of my blood pressure. But even after leaving both modem and computer off it still doesnt work (500 BYTES a second when in all actuality it SHOULD be going 80 THOUSAND bytes a second; or in other words, it was going 0.5 mph as opposed to the normal 80 mph so yeah FUCKING SLOW AS HELL). So i basically spend the rest of the day trying to figure out what the hells wrong, i even open up the modem to see if anything is fried; nothing. Then i tell my dad this morning about it and he says that the fone in his room wasn't working either so he had to take the dsl filter off, and though i really didn't think that would cause such a problem, i was out of ideas, but it turns out that was it. The fucking FONE filter. Hell i rember when i was installing it, it said they were OPTIONAL, and that in some cases weren't even needed at all. But hahaha as soon as i slapped that damn thing on WHOOOOOOSH. But at least now its fixed. Oh and hahaha i was supposed to go pick a graphics card up at jims yesterday, but hahaha i forgot with all my anger and annoyance so gomen if you were waiting for me to come by. But i don't feel like it now, its the weekend and its all gonna end soon, the dawn of the first day is after tomorrow.
