I miss my family right now. I wish I could spend Christmas with them, but I thought it was better to stay here. Besides, everyone here is family to me also. I am giving everyone a card. I wish I could get a gift for everyone, but the diner doesn't really pay very well.
In fact, I'm thinking about getting a new job. I decided to register at a nearby college for the spring semester. I don't think the diner pay is going to help pay off loans.
Anyway, I'm in a good mood right now. I always liked the holiday season.

I finally thought of something to get Mr. Wood. I thought he could use a date book. I know it's not real creative, but I don't really know him that well. I did get a really nice one, though. Well, I hope he likes it. It seems like a logical thing for a principal to have.
I also got a gift for Caridad since she is my roommate. I decided on The Mask of Zorro on DVD since she loves Antonio Banderas. Also, Catherine Zeta-Jones rocks. Oddly enough, Cari had her eye on a dart board. Weird.
