The imdb site could'nt have selected a better time to reconstruct
August is just around the corner and that means another CK film will enhance the movie going experience with An American crime. I'm excited! I have to wonder how the Academy Awards, and the Golden Globes, are going to go about overlooking the performance of CK which will undoubtedly leave a memorable impression branded on the minds of citizens around the world.
If you take the time to read some of the reviews already written, you'll get an idea of the plot without having to read the book. I'm sure there's a book out there somewhere. Earlier this year, a report on the local news describing a new law making it illegal to spank a child in California really turned heads. Of course, I don't know the specifics. Who would even see a need to spank an infant no older than three? Other lifestyle affecting laws in California, AB651 would change the way people expire when suffering from a terminally ill affliction. That lethal injections should be banned as a form of execution among inmates bearing death sentences, the elderly possibly being injected with similar doses for their suffering, and the spanking ordeal gives some idea of just what kind of monster may await the next political rally in 2008. If people consider that the public education system is just, if not more, sadistic than the mistreatment of animals, the young developing minds in a classroom would not find it consoling to numb their awarenesses. Just as it's too late to re-attach a person's balls, the damage in school is done when the students who stood their ground, suffering concussions, contusions, etc., find comfort in knowing their perspective on things takes paucity to the loud, obnoxious lyrics of heavy metal.
