Wearing my little hat whenever I step out to lunch with bed head

That god awful light grey Iron Gall ink

While I take notes, or brainstorm ideas, I'm utilizing several pens. I have unusually shaped Rotring Art Pens, one in a fine point, and two in stub nib sizes 1.1mm and 2mm. From what I remember having filled the ink reservoir of the EF (extra fine) point, I thought I had used Gall Ink, but as is prone to happen in my small living space, I spilled water on my notes and the fine point had smudged.

Using up that ink, I refilled the fine point pen with the awful GREY iron gall ink, but that ink doesn't seem to flow very well. I'll have to remember to restrict that ink bottle to dip pens only from here on forward.

I'm still working on the 90-page prompt project and continuing from where I left off on page 13. I'm cutting away from the dialog Deirdre has with the nude cop (and his partner in a hot pink uniform), to something else. As I rack my brain, I just can't find a good setting for some dialog I spewed out one day waiting to be called to see a doctor about this broken ankle.

Tumblr works really well for this because I feel that nobody reads tumblr and my stuff, as blasé as it can be, I doubt anybody is interested in my ramblings there. I couldn't figure out how to print my dialog there and I found myself writing it all down on a sheet of paper to later transfer it onto script format with my reliable typewriter.

This is the smudgy ink, though the smudge occurred in a different sheet

There's this app on my 'puter: LOGLINE and I can go to town on my computer keyboard but when I try typing on it, the darn app crashes. So, my default typewriter takes over. It may be slow, but at least I get a nicely composed page with actual ink on paper, plus a carbon copy as I'm disciplining myself to do when I type.

Because the dialog I have is between two people and it tangents from one topic to another, I'm thinking of using a street scene where parts of the dialog could take place while walking down the street, another at a fast food joint, a third in a bus or Lyft/Uber, I just dunno. I've been so blocked in this area, I thought I would doodle a cartoon. I don't know why my cartoons emulate fffungirl all the time, but I'm guessing it's because drawing a full body figure is good enough and I don't want to be troubled with getting facial expressions right.

I penciled the panels and then went in with the ArtPen for the captions, but when I tried to go over my pencil marks with the extra fine point ArtPen which is presently filled with light grey iron gall ink, I had no ink flow. Now I don't know who this character is that I'm drawing because the hair doesn't look like what I imagine for Deirdre. Bier, maybe, but he isn't on jury duty so I would really have to find away to get him into a situation in which he's being sworn in for a trial. Molly seems more like this character's shinanigans.

Seems like off topic, but I guess my subconscious really wants me to use a court building as a setting

doodle, calligraphy, brainstorm
