note taking during movies I know I'll be bored with and mind wander throughout the whole flick.

My entertainment room (living room) has windows facing south. Since my TV remote needs charging and I forgot to leave it connected over night, I’m listening to talk radio. I can put music, yes, but that would mean listening to classic rock. And if I use the turntable, I’d be getting up every 30 minutes.
Since I’ve been spending all day in front of the TV (trying to avoid the outside world), I mostly watch news or movies related to some current event taking place somewhere. So, the talk radio station is fine. I’ve heard back in ancient alien times, the people weren’t able to talk to each other. I dunno what that must’ve been like. I mean, was it like a society intolerable of people with Tourette’s Syndrome? And everybody back then maybe was very sensitive about stuff and the slightest wrong word could set them off.
So much light comes in thru the window if I open the blinds. Although the house is a mess with unusable furniture - thank you, cats - it's good reading light. This is a plus for the idea buying a hammock. The thing is, if I'm determined to use the south pointing windows (they're a great light source this time of year!) - the east pointing windows suck with the neighbor's tree bocking the sunlight - then the hammock would be directly in front of the TV. I have the TV against those south pointing windows.
If I could get Alex Jones on my radio, this reading habit I'm trying to increase might be easy peasy. For now it's KFI, KABC, KNX. Everything else is hokey. Yes, hokey. Haven't you ever heard the song? The Hokey Pokey.
