Zheka Koshmar is a legendary personality figure whose name is forever
engraved into history of Russian rock. Buff-punk-orchestra "Ku-Ku" was
started in Kharkov in 1988. Since then Koshmar played with everyone
from Chizh to Shevchuk.

Coming to know each other through a mutual friend at the desert rave
festival in colorado in 2002, shay raban (aka dj earthian)

common ground to combine their skills to produce cutting edge dance
music. soon, after several sessions in a cozy studio in boulder, they
release 2 tracks on the compilation for the small label out of NYC
(http://www.polarlightmusic.com) under the name of B.R.A.Z.I.L. a year
and a half of separaion, while shay was gaining a repuation of a
versatile and virtuoso dj in nyc and oleg was completing his studies
in sound engineering in australia, played a vital role in defining
current sound of animaltek, where wide spectrum of musical influences,
from hardcore rock to trippy cyber-disco, brought together in a unique
and carefully crafted harmonious fusion of electronic dance music. at
the moment animaltek is busy preparing a live set, that will surely be
