Does anyone know of a place to live somewhere in Mayra? It'd be closer to the school for me and I wouldn't have to see that one guy who reminds me of Pavi Largo everyday. I only saw Pavi once in real life and it was the day...it wasn't a good day ( Read more... )

Hi, Shilo-san. Since I'm living out of a coffin hotel right now, I don't think I'm qualified to give anyone residential advice.

I think the place Mr. Kennedy gave me is going to work.

What's a coffin hotel?

Unfortunately very close to what it sounds like - it's a hotel with rooms about three feet tall, three feet wide, and seven feet long, with a padded floor.

Hiding out in the Starscape sounds nicer then that.

I can't argue with that. I'm just approaching this city from the perspective that the less risks I take, the better - after all, most cities don't have the added risks of zombie attacks, age regression, or involuntary musicals.

Good point, having a safe place to sleep makes it easier to handle.

Yeah. Besides, I can pay by the day, so if I do manage to afford somewhere better, I can move right away - and it's located very conveniently to my job, dozens of restaurants, and the travel agency.

In any case, my cell phone, the clothes I'm wearing, and an unfortunate amount of homework were all I had on me when I woke up in Desai, so it isn't as though I need more room to store my things.

I came here on my own, and I didn't bring much more then that. I...didn't have much space to myself at home so I love having it here. It's refreshing.

A change of pace from what you're used to almost always is - I think that's why I've been enjoying myself in Desai despite everything.

And once the weird events pass they were all kind of fun, in their own ways.

Eh, maybe if you weren't paying too much attention to my singing voice...

Singing is really popular where I come from, you can't be worse then some people there.

An irritating friend of mine once remarked that I have a voice like an amputee: I can't hold a note, nor carry a tune.

If they were irritating, maybe that person was just saying it to bother you.
