Slam Scrimmage
It was great last night. We put up three new group pieces that have never been scored and now we know so much more about them. Andy is right the new chairs in Ego's are fucking awful, can't see shit! Hung out with a bunch of people that I have never hung out with before and that was great. Yeah for new friends.
Now, the bad news. On Tuesday night my neck was really sore while working and it caused a mild migraine or just a dull, relentless, light sensitive headache. Then, yesterday I woke up and my neck was fucking killing me. I thought I slept on it wrong, took a hot hot shower and it still hurt so bad. Then, I realized that my neck is swollen on both sides and sensitive to touch...yep, there is something in there. My teammate and nurse Christopher Micheals felt my neck (which hurt like hell) and told me that I have to go to the doctor. UUGH. No insurance, just a credit card. I barely had enough energy to perform one piece last night. I think I am running a fever too, not sure. My friend Zoe is gonna be here in a few minutes to take me to the clinic. My throat is twice as bad as yesterday. Some of my co-workers told me last night that strep throat is going around. SWEET! Nothing like a little strep to take with me to nats. Let's just hope I get some drugs that can set me straight in a couple days. Because right now, getting up to go to the bathroom is like the worst thing that ever happened to me.
