this is my homework so dont comment unless you feel like talking about my homework
i feel the effect of gamma rays on man int he moon marrigolds is a good story, but it ends abruptly. and the ending makes no sense. its obvious that the writer had a shitty childhood and his mother payed no attention to both mental and physical problems. but thats all it makes clear. the story is pretty dull, and im sure the play would be good. but reading it was boring. its a cute story though, i guess. i dont know... i think it would be better if there was more conflict, because its really really dull. i mean... woo beatrice is a bitch and we get that but is that really acceptable for the whole plot of the story!? i dont know, it could be better, could be worse too. the most interesting thing that happened in the whole thing was at the end, and that wasnt very interesting. unless you count a kid bumming ciggarettes off of their mother interesting, then the whole thing is VERY interesting. but I for one do not find it interesting. and that is all i can say about the book. its short, sweet (maybe), and boring.
