Sparkling Stars (World War II-Era Slavefic)
Hi, guys! I know this community is pretty quiet, but that's true of most LJ comms these days, so I figured what the heck? If I can pick up at least a few new readers, why not?
After a long hiatus from slavefic I recently was inspired by binge-watching an old favorite, McHale's Navy (the TV show, not the movie) to write slavefic again. The premise of this AU is that the crew of the PT-73 possess their own sex slave, as do many fighting units during World War II. It's a challenge to balance the slaves being crew and being in combat and also serving as slaves. Reasons for this modern (1940s) form of slavery are given in the first installment.
I'm using the character of Virgil Edwards (Gunner's Mate) as the slave. I think I was inspired by him going shirtless in nearly every episode of Season 1! ;) He was played by Edson Stroll (who also guest-starred on two memorable episodes of The Twilight Zone).
