Lost fic (Found)
Hi everybody,
I recently remembered a fic I started reading a while ago, but I can't find it again and you know how annoying that can get... So I'd be very grateful if somebody here could help me. I don't think it was posted here originally since I've just checked every entry to no avail, but I guess I could have missed it somehow. Here's what I remember.
- The story was set in a kind of post-apocalyptic AU, and I think it was RPF.
- It started with the master pondering about how cold his new slave must have been. They were outside, it was winter and the younger man was scantily clad or naked. He seemed afraid of his new master but the latter couldn't yet reassure him since they were in public.
- The master was surveying the area while pondering this. He was going to a bustling forum/marketplace (a dome maybe?) to purchase smuggled goods (weapons and antibiotics) on the black market (and get information?)
- There were cameras everywhere and a Big Brother vibe in the "dome".
- The master met with a cruel "Lady" who I'm pretty sure was Lady Jolie, which is the reason why I think it was RPF. She wasn't nice to slaves.
- Afterward they went back to what I think was referred to as the master's "hold", where he ruled over his clan.
