Saturday, March 20th
It seems a solid majority would prefer we do things separate from Chaz. So I'll honor that. I'm still not completely fond of the idea, to be honest, but I'd rather everyone generally be comfortable about things.
To keep some separation from Chaz's group, I'm proposing moving a bit further away from our usual spot, per above. The downside of the location is that it's a bit further from any of the cherry blossom trees than most of the other locations, and it's a bit isolated from generally everything except the bamboo. The upside of the location should be the covering trees nearby to provide some shade, and the distance it does provide. The shade's probably going to be important if the weather's anything like it's been this week.
Now, note that I'm strictly guessing where Chaz is going to set up. Maybe some of you guys don't really care where we set up, as long as we can keep some separation. But I'm not sure. I'm also trying to pick a spot where there's a low likelihood of confusion between his group and ours.
However, just as a double check:

I'll bring some quantity of supplies. I'll presume about 24-30 and supply accordingly. However, since I'm obviously not going to be concerning myself about specifics, if you have special needs food-wise, please bring your own.
EDIT: After seeing the preliminary results and comments, and discussing the situation with chase_the_bunny, basically the conclusion I've come to is that this location seems unlikely to be liked (though if you'd like to convince me otherwise, feel free to comment/vote as such). At the same time, picking a location near Chaz while staying reasonably separated from Chaz's group is impossible. Basically, since his group is about 80, and we'd be about 1/4th that, and the contents of the group are relatively homogeneous (probably cosplayers and photographers mostly, plus anime fans), once they got on site, there'd be no way to do anything that would be a benefit of being really separate (ie: separate food supplies or such).
I'll set up where we were set up last weekend, about 9AM or so (see map above). If/when Chaz sets up, if he chooses to set up within ~150yds of where we're set up, we're merging to his location and his event. Those who don't like it: deal with it. That's all there is to it. Those who argue against merging, realize that in the end, if we're both set up that close to each other, we're just going to cause more confusion and issues than it's worth. They'll find us, we'll find them, and we'd effectively end up merged in the end.
That said, that means if/when he shows, the supplies I bring will effectively be opened to his use. Therefore, if you're really concerned about having your own food, bring it yourselves.
Sunday, March 21st
Normal shooting day. I sort of like the spot where we were last weekend, so I'll probably target that spot. If you're not sure where that is, check the map above. Hopefully, most of you are familiar with how the park is laid out by now. If not, basically, if you enter the park from Balboa Blvd, the spot is on the right hand side just past the bridge. I'll try to supply a little bit better than last weekend (I thought last weekend was going to be quieter than it was). I have one required shoot this day that takes priority, so don't be surprised if I'm not around that much. ^^;;
Saturday, March 27th
At the moment, it actually looks like I'll be in the park if Otaku Rehab moves here. In which case, I'm just going with that.
