My anti-political political post

Too many political entries on the LJs I read as of late, so I present:

Things I've learned from the world, based on the media, educational system, and other people:

• Abortions are a sin
• Abortions should be a woman's choice
• Illegal immigrants are bad
• Illegal immigrants are the backbone of the economy
• Clinton was a womanizer
• Clinton helped along a good economy
• Hitler was evil
• Hitler was doing what he thought was right for his country
• Richard Nixon was the worst president ever
• Richard Nixon was a great president, but it was too bad he got caught up in Watergate
• Ronald Reagan was the greatest president ever
• Ronald Reagan screwed up our economy big time
• We need to support strong religious values in our schools
• We need to keep church and state separate
• Iran supports terrorism, and is a direct threat to our country
• Iran wants a nuclear program for energy, not weapon purposes
• The Harry Potter books have led to more school children reading
• The Harry Potter books preach witchcraft, and should be banned from schools
• Cosplayers show their love with their great work
• Cosplayers are a bunch of retarded dorks
• It's right to be respectful to everyone else
• Political correctness has gone too far
• We have a right to carry guns to protect ourselves
• Guns cause us to inflict more pain on ourselves than on others
• For heinous crimes, criminals should pay the ultimate price
• We shouldn't drop ourselves down to their level by killing criminals

Things I've learned from my own observations:

• Nothing is ever straightforward
• The world is full of a lot of BS
