Getting My Thoughts Together
Sorry I've been slow posting about a preview for the shoots from last weekend. Unfortunately, I think there's a good chance that beyond the two teasers, I won't be able to get any sort of substantive preview up before Yaoi-Con starts. I may be able to put up a very very small preview before then, but that'd literally probably be about a dozen shots at most maybe, so yet another teaser. I've been having to deal with setting up a backup laptop I have for a friend so that he can borrow it while he saves up money to get a more solid laptop on his own.
I have done some work, like getting the RAWs processed for MikomiCon and have gotten selection pretty much done for the Naruto shoot stuff, but picking a subset and getting touchups done might not be doable if I have to still pack and get enough sleep to make the drive.
Yaoi-Con plans? Me? Well, I have two shoots scheduled, I think. Both on Saturday: one in the morning, one before the masquerade. I'm still struggling to figure out some of the side plans beyond those, but I get the feeling I'm probably going to end up winging it a bit. Somewhat more interestingly, this also appears to be the first con in a long time where I actually have zero of my usual compatriots with me; Ben is passing on this one, and lifftchi is stuck in LA for work. While I spent a good chunk of the Sac-Anime trip under that condition, I'm having a hard time thinking back to the last con where I did that for the whole duration. It may actually be AX1997, though I think there was one Fanime in there somewhere where I managed to sneak up solo.
Of course, I know plenty of you guys who are going to be up at the con, so while I might not have my usual group along, I'm hardly going to be alone. :P But at least I get a hotel room to myself. \o/
