Well I got to see Tool for my 3rd time on Friday. It was amazing. They evolve so much every time i see them. It is crazy they can change so much in such short periods of time. Danny and Jon from Tomahawk did a beutifal drum solo together to start out Triad. Maynard added a few extra lines to Stinkfist, I couldnt really understand what the words were but it sounded beutifal. They had new screens with Alex Grey art. But I think they coolest thing on the stage (besides the band) was the thing that held their lights over top of the stage. It was a giant 7 point star. For some reason I loved that thing. They also had the tree of life like pulsating at the end of parabola. Anyone who wasnt familiar with these symbols probably thought they were satanic. The girl sitting next to us left and I think thats why. I actually got to sit the whole concert because everyone infront of me was sitting and i could see everything. It was like having Tool in my backyard (with a few thousand friends). We did miss Tomahawk though due to traffic wich Im still dissapointed about but atleast I didnt miss Tool. Their coming back in a couple months to Toledo, Dayton and Kalamazo (Mi). Im going to do my best to hit all 3 shows. Its going to cost around $200 but it would be worth it. Well I think Ill end with a quote from Maynard that night. "We hope you go home tonight feeling inspired with a warm feeling in your heart and very horny."
