New Toy
So, my guys said I could choose between a netbook and a tablet for my birthday pressie. There was a tablet that I really wanted but it had some serious flaws, so I decided to go with the netbook and hope that their would be a new version of the tablet next year that addressed the flaws ;) Yesterday we went to look at the netbook to get an idea if it was light enough etc and came home with it. And the best part is that my birthday isn't even until May 8th \o/ Result!

This is the Acer 722R, the screen is 11.6", so it's slightly bigger than your average netbook but you get a better screen view experience and it wasn't noticeably heavier. Those ripples on the lid, they're actually raised, so it feels kinda fun too. It has a 7hr battery and booted as quickly as I think my laptop used to before it got loaded down with crap lol.
The problem that I now have is what to call her/him, I've exhausted most of the geek!character names on other tech that I have (Ianto, Tosh, Abby, Garcia, etc), the only one I've not used is Charlie, and the 722R is definitely not a Charlie. So, I'm open to your suggestions :) All my toys have names, I can't leave it feeling left out. :(
Of course, the pressure is now on to come up with really awesome anniversary gifts for the April 26. Very clever, guys! lol
