Hello.
I've been quite busy as of late. I know. I always say that.
I just wish that life would sometimes slow down so I can do what I need to get down, what I want to get done and then do all the silly little things in between.
Between sick kids (Donovan had 7 spider bites and a horrid rash the other day) and sick hubbies (aren't those the worst?) and new and old employees causing havoc and ambitious county employees wanting us to tear down our shed (where our walk-in is), well, I've been...well...
I've been a little bit pooped.
There's been so many things in the news I wanted to share with you and dreams I've had where I got great ideas for stories and actual stories I want to write and RL events that I wanted to report on but I just couldn't seem to get the time to.
So I decided to make a pact with myself.
I would write for at least an hour a day and I'm going to make a concerted effort to look at my flist to see how you guys are doing.
I'll even post some stupid shit here and there.
These are the things I've currently got in the works right now:
As for the Orlibean fandom - I'm thinking I'll be done with Death Does Not Become Him by summer's end. This story is a mystery and I feel bad that I've updated to sporadically in the past few months.
Once I get my one-shot Orlibean looked over, I'll post that. It's dark and has to do with the guys in a very different situation.
I have two series, one short (like a three-parter) and one a bit longer, planned too. One is a Blurban and is just like all my dark comedies and then the slighter longer one is a spoof on Tampopo where Orli goes on a quest to find the perfect Mac and cheese for his beach front stand. He meets all sorts of characters like guru Viggo, Sargeant Bana and a Bean you won't want to miss. And let's not forget the Hobbits are there too. :)
I'm not going to make promises re Justin's Baby, The Hitcher or my cannibal!fic but I m going to make an effort. I have outlines for these stories (except the Hitcher because remember, that was just an experiment).
So there you go.
Oh, one last note.
I had a dream the other night. I told hubby about it:
Joe: I had a dream last night. I was in this strange looking field. It was so peaceful though. I can't describe it though.
Me: Yeah, dreams are fucked up like that. I had a dream last night that people were having their minds controlled by these little people and we acted just like the living dead.
Joe: So these little people controlled people...how? Cuz I'm kinda afraid to ask...
Me: We wore these people like hats...little people hats on our heads.
Joe: You are so disturbed.
I don't know. We could call it Night of the Living Hats.
