Why am I so enthralled with American Idol??
Ugh! I really don't get it!!! Okay, so I do...it's because the guy I
saw play Roger in "Rent" last year is Constantine and he's still on the
show. Whatev....
Things are going pretty well... I'm SUPER tired again, as usual. And I'm sick which is LAME!!! I can't wait for this week to be over so I don't have freaking 7 AM CALL for dance rehearsal. It's all good though, it's good training for professional work where I'll have early morning calls more often than not. Well, if I'm doing any kind of daytime television work at least.... The musical theatre working crowd tend to be more of the "creatures of the night" type. We're the one's who rehearse UNTIL 4 o clock in the morning. Ahh...things to look forward to......
A friend of mine went and auditioned for Tokyo Disney today. That's DEFINITELY something I'm wanting to audition for. It's SUCH a sweet deal! You make a minimum $850 a week, live with the American cast, and do anywhere between a 6 month to I think it goes up to like...2 year contract where all of your living expenses are paid for...... I don't know how crazy I am about the idea of living in Japan though. It could be a great experience though, and a great money maker to stash some cash before I move to NYC. To tell you the truth, I would LOVE to book a tour right out of school. Or a regional show. Anything where I get per diem on top of my salary and I don't have to worry about where I live for a while....I can't wait to start auditioning!!!!!! September!!!!! Ugh...that means I need to start saving for my headshots NOW!!! Things are EFFING expensive!!!!!
Anywho... I need to wrap it up and get to bed so I don't DIE tomorrow morning. Nighty night.
