The KEG
Last night was our first 'official' anniversary. I know everyone just counts from teh day they were married, but for me the 6 years before that are still important. We went to the KEG. and because it was our first time there, they gave us free appetizers of jumbo shrimp cocktail. I had the mushroom sirloin adn polo had prime rib. Benji went wiht us, and for somereason was acting a little squirlley. usually he's pretty good flirting with the wiatress and stuff, but yesterday he was acting like something was wrong. I think it was cause he was bored all day while i was trying to get my work done and he wouldn't listen when i told him to pick things up. So he really didn't do much except lay on teh couch when he thought i wasn't watching him pick things up. He's so frigging stubborn sometimes. He did enjoy his dinner and we told him we would all play some video games when we got home together before bed, so that made him happy.
So during the course of dinner polo orderedf me 2 martininis (one peach, one mango) and 2 long island ice teas. Oh and we also got desert free since it was our anniversary! so that was 20 bucks worth of free food! although we ended up spending about 100 on dinner anyways. desert was really good too.. we had the Chocolate Haven.. or something.. had three different chocolate items.. brownie, icecream thing, and a mouse mountain thingy. So I had a pretty good time :) oh while we were eating desert two peple were seated behind polo and they were deaf so they were signing away like crazy.. that was really interesting to see.
So we get home.. Over the course of the evening Polo made more 2 drinks for me.. we played the new MARIO BROTHER DS game. Decided not to wait for my Epoll reward to come in and we bought it this weekend. Nintendo's getting much better at the multigames for other DS' to download. Even while being tipsy i still beat polo's butt :D hehe benji rocks at the Othello type game.
Then i fall asleep on teh couch... polo puts benji to bed and wakes me up, where i noticed i broke my glasses (again). Same break as last time, they were just glued together.. but its annoyign wearing glasses with only one side intact. then we had some much needed one on one time, which was even funner then usual hehehe. Yay for alcohol. oh and the long island ice tea tasted kinda herby, almost lavendery.... it was *really *good.
