Moving Update!
spent all morning call around uhuals becuase the online one messed up. It said "place 5 bucks down now to hold a truck and a rep will call you and set you up wtih a local retailer by 5pm" type of thing.. I did that, as everyone was closed. So then the next morning I get a confirmation uhaul form one over 10 miles away! there are many much closer than that. So i'm thinking maybe that's just hte local major center and when the person calls they'll set me up with someone closer. They dont call till 630ish while we were shopping for groceries last night so i missed the call. The guy says pick up is at 1, but i need it back before 7 in the morning for a 14 foot truck. That's not what we're paying for or wanted! (and first when icalled the number it was a national office or something and i kept getting the runaround with transfers).
Talked to my stepdad since he's helping to move, and Polo. Polo said fine we'll make it work. Stepdad says, well why dont we try for monday. he doesnt like to rush things and wants the leway of having one all day. Called all around again, ended up finding just ONE 10 foot, but we can have it from 9 am monday till 9 am tuesday. AND its less than a mile away. Called my boys to okay it all, so that's what we finially settled on. ugh.. what a ring around the rosey..... Although the guy with the 10' truck was funny, I told him my woes with the website and he said... "Uhaul sucks, you think you got it bad on the outside, be glad you dont have to deal with it internally!" hahahahaha
Next... Checked on our couch.... Guy says its due to be in his store on Monday and he'll call as soon as its "in hand" and schedule a pick up.
I-net is scheduled to be turned on on monday too.
So that means one extra day to pack which is why i'm wasting time updating instead of packing hehehe
And benji's party's still on for tomorrow, but now i hope its not too cold/windy cause he likes to play in the wading pool.
