another mile stone

After breakfast i noticed tiber was being unusually friendly and brave by exploring more places of the house. Vlad was still in the bathroom waiting to be let out, but I decided to give Tiber more one on one time since he seemed to want it. After a while I put tiber up on my monitor and let vlad out. Vlad didn't follow me to the office, and after a while Tiber came off my monitor and sat on the desk behind me. Then Vlad did come in the office and jumped up next to tiber. there they sat. Not even 6 inches from each other in the same position just staring. I turn around and watch them for a few. I decided to see if I could make this a more positive situation. I found one of their cat toys under the desk and let each sniff and bat at it and pet each one.... Then I remembered i had some greenies on the shelf just outside of the office. I have no idea what's in those greenies but both of them like it more than catnip (and they both really enjoy catnip)! I almost grabbed the cat nip, but decided i didn't want to deal with its side effects. I was afriad Tiber would bolt before I came back... but he didn't! And so there Benji and I sat feeding each one about 20 greenies. Vlad probalby got a little more cause he wouldn't chew half of them. at one point i had a greenie in each hand, with each hand touching at the palms and got each cat to take a greenie just centimeters from each other's face. I had to hold on to Vlad's longer cause he would have swallowed it while Tiber will just delicately and slowly try to take it out of my fingers. It was great! No hissing and Benji Even fed Tiber a few times. I didn't want to stop feeding them, but they bag says only to give 16 greenies throughou the day. Vlad even jumped down on the floor and back up on the table a few times and Tiber tolerated it all.
