I KNOW RIGHT, I saw him on Driveforlife this morning and I was all AWWW WANT, DAMN IT. I've posted him on my Facebook; I'll link my LJ peeps to your entry because you said it better than I could.
I saw him and thought of you immediately. Joe and I discussed it briefly... and he'd be on his way here if we had a bigger house and a yard. As it is, leash-walking all 3 multiple times per day in the snow is a pain in the butt.
Oh, I'm glad you do, you were of course on my list of people to e-mail specifically to ask if they maybe knew some people who knew some people. You found a place for Rooney Lee, maybe you'll have the same luck with Beowulf!
After my experience with Pig (who probably has a wonderful home lined up AND one where I will receive regular updates and pictures, we're just waiting to hear back from the landlord.) I'm pretty sure the next animal I adopt for myself will be blind or deaf or some combination of the two. At the moment, however, we are not on the market for another pet. We are overrun...but I will put the word out for him.
Thanks for putting the word out! I just keep thinking, you know, that somewhere out there is another me, only with a spot open. And all we need to do is spread the word far enough that the other me finds out about him, and voila! problem solved.

I must admit I have been torturing myself with him looking at his petfinder page for months now. I am crushed to see him in dire straits.

I've got feelers out for him too.
