work is hard...
so, i just got a promotion and transferred from the blockbuster i've been at for 9 months or so, and i thought i was doing really well. the staff seemed to like me well enough, and the feeling was mutual. then our new manager came in and took over, as managers are supposed to of course. i understand that it is now her store, but it makes a lot of things a lot more difficult, especially since krista is transferring to another store as well, and we still only have the one car. we're in the middle of this huge sales push, and on top of that we also have mystery shops going on. so if we're really busy it makes it almost impossible to get a 100% score if we get shopped. it's really frustrating, especially when i get a brand new cashier on a friday night, and i'm a new shift leader, and we have a huge ass rush. so i got reprimanded by the new boss, and that just made my night, let me tell you. grr. i really don't have a problem with her, i just think that she's trying a touch too hard to make the store as perfect as she thinks it needs to be. it doesn't help that she's coming from the busiest store in the state, either. i love my job. i don't want anything to change that, especially not my boss.
