*deep sigh of exhaustion* I feel like these past few days have just been a blur. Right now I'm sitting at the computer in my room (@ home in Chicopee; just to clear up any "Does he mean at the apartment or at his house?" confusion that I'm sure you've just experienced) and I feel so relaxed. I'm not even thinking about the fact that I have to work 9-5 tomorrow and the day after, and the day after, and the day after...
Last week's finals went pretty well. I didn't really study too well for my Brands final on Thursday, but I guess it went okay and I bullshitted my way through it. Then that night Chris and I went on a cleaning / rearranging spree in the apartment and I got rid of anything school related because the semester's over and packed up some stuff I just don't need at the apartment to take home. Then I worked on Friday and when I got out at 5 I headed up to Mansfield to terrorize Eastern Mass and spend the weekend with Nic. I love going to his house. I feel so welcomed there. Not to mention he lives on the Wisteria Lane of New England. That night we went to a birthday party for his friend Danielle. I like Nic's friends. If I lived in Mansfield and went to their high school, they are probably the type of people who I'd end up befriending. On Saturday, we rotted for a bit, did some shopping, played a lot of MarioParty and at night we had a Star Wars Episode I & II marathon. I haven't seen The Phantom Menace since it came out in theaters and I've only seen bits and pieces of Attack Of The Clones and we planned on seeing the new movie on Sunday, so I had to get caught up.
Nic had to work Sunday 9-5 so I met up with Ms. Kimberly Carpentier by way of Foxboro and we went on a road trip to find Nic's work. We got lost in Easton, which seems ridiculously impossible because it's so small, and we were screaming at the organized, named neighborhoods. "Hello, I live in TangleWood - an organized community." Nic didn't help us get un-lost because his knowledge of street names and route numbers was unimpressive at best. Finally, we made it with the help of Kim's mother. Then we went to the Wrentham outlets where I spent any excess money I had. For once I could've said that I wasn't in need of money and actually had some extra of it, but no...I blew that whole idea to pieces and am now in debt again and shall need to request some funding from my mother.
So by the end of Sunday, I was tired, Nic was tired...it was cold and rainy...and the Desperate Housewives season finale was on (which was amazing; Mike Delfino = Zack/Dana's father!?!?!? *gasp*), so we didn't see Star Wars. On Monday, I was supposed to leave to come home, but we decided to see the movie when Nic's brother got out of school. By the time we got to the theater (everything in Mansfield/Foxboro is 938093840 miles away from everything else and their Dunkin Donuts' don't have drive-thru's, yet accept debit cards...weird...) it was late, and the movie was 3 hours long, and it was still cold and rainy and dark and I didn't want to drive home, so I just spent another night there.
Which brings us to today. I said goodbye to Nic which sucks, knowing I won't see him for probably 2 weeks, and drove home in the early AM in order to make it to work today at 12:30'ish.
And now I'm home.
That's the end of my story. I'ma go get a snack and watch the American Idol finale part one (*crossing fingers for Carrie*) and then Britney's show. Peace out, G's...
