What Did YOU Get For Christmas?...
As predicted, I mostly just got money. No new computer. Gift certificates for the mall, Dunkins, Blockbuster, movie passes, etc. I also got tons of blank cd's, which I will definitely use. I was actually really excited to GIVE presents this year - especially to my mom and dad. I may not have spent more than they spent on me, but I definitely got them more things than they got me, so it was nice to constantly be handing presents over to them for once. My mother LOVES her UMass sweater blanket and my dad was telling everyone about the "Live Nudes" neon light I got for his bar. So I was happy.
Yet again...Christmas has come and gone. It's just not the same when you're older, but I guess it's just something you gotta deal with. I think between finals and working everyday last week, I didn't get into the whole anticipation of Christmas, which made it suckier for me. Next year, maybe I'll try to take it easier on myself.
And another thing that's making me angry. My parents just told me last night that they're going away somewhere with my aunt and uncle next weekend, so that means no New Year's Eve party at my house. I highly enjoyed New Year's at my house, all my family and friends blending together and getting drunk. Grrr...
