Turkey Lurkey Time...
It's been a while. Oops.
So I guess I'll start off my life updates with the biggest news. My sister-in-law (after way too many false alarms this past week and 2 days of labor) FINALLY had her baby today at 3:05. Gianna Katarzyna LaRoche, 7 lbs 15 oz, 20 inches. I normally hate babies, but she was beautiful. Thank God does NOT have the LaRoche nose. I'm an uncle! :)
Kelly Clarkson's CD is amazing! Go out and buy it next Tuesday.
This week is going by soooo quickly. My presentation in Writing was on Tuesday and it went by so quickly and smoothly. I wasn't nervous at all, mostly because I actually took interest in my topic (music/album sales/illegal downloading, etc) and it's pretty much my life.
Today also was my dreaded dentist appointment. I'm so pissed. Firstly, the bitch was drilling for an hour. It was so annoying. Six shots of novacaine, too. I was not pleased. In the past 3 or 4 years, something just happened within my mind and I do NOT do well with needles anymore. I'm fine before and during the actual shot, but a few minutes afterward I'll get so nauseous and light-headed. So I got a few shots of novacaine this morning, and then Dr. Scotto was like - ehh, how about a few more *jab jab*. So the actual filling experience was the worst of my life. Then I get home and check my teeth out and the fucking fillings are huge, engulfing the entire tops of my molars. And my fucking insurance wouldn't cover the cost of getting fillings that aren't the noticeable sliver color. And then one of the fillings in the back was molded a bit higher up than my actual tooth was to begin with, so my bite is all askew. And I have to wait til December 15th when I go for the rest of my work to have the thing filed down. Ugh, I'm so pissed.
We're also not doing to well in the finding-a-pet department. I don't know if I mentioned this in my last post, but my mother and father caved in to getting a new dog AND a cat. We were looking at a cocker spaniel last weekend, but some other family beat us to the punch. The my mother found two cats this week she liked, but she couldn't get to the MSPCA to get them because of my sister-in-law going into labor. Oh well.
Alright, I'm gonna go chill with Harry Potter & The Prisoner of Azkaban. It's so relaxing to be living at home for a few days. Peace out, y'all. Happy Thanksgiving tomorrow...
