TEN YEARS AGO TODAY I took a break from illustrating the cover art to the book shown below to draw a birthday card for a super (hero) friend as shown above.
NOW THIS WAS TEN YEARS AGO, 2005. I posted this in LIVE JOURNAL and it wasn't locked, "Friends Only," a feature I could easily have enabled. Nope, just posted. I wasn't concerned about blowing the birthday card surprise because I knew the recipient wasn't checking my blog on a daily basis. I don't think anyone was-except "my friends"-Live-Journal friends, that is. It's funny how things change. In just ten years. I mean, how many status updates have you checked today?
