I just recently completed an Art Challenge where I categorized my art into mediums. One I didn't include that is huge part of my creative output is DIGITAL. Though not limited to, more specifically Digital for Web.
With my website and my blog, I'm always creating graphics to support, enhance or in place of, the text content.
I truly enjoy repurposing my-in many cases, traditionally created art-to an electronic medium and media. I often use that word to describe the process of digitizing or digitally-enhancing an existing art piece-"...I electrified my Billie Holiday batik for my first publication..."
And now designing for web that crosses platforms, I've come to enjoy how "one thing works this way and now, works that way." Sometimes it doesn't and I go back and tweak. But often those creative accidents in the digital world are just as exciting as those traditional ones (and so much easier to fix if they're not).
