Today's random train...
MONEY "Today In History" is a section of our local paper that I read every morning. I'm a lover of historical stuff and entertaining trivia. This section closes with a random quote. Today's quote was by Ayn Rand.
"So you think that money is the root of all evil. Have you ever asked what is the root of money?"
THE OTHER NIGHT I was watching an episode of BOARDWALK EMPIRE and a bartender said, "People say MONEY can't buy happiness. I say, they don't know where to shop."
THAT made me think of this image from my illustrated song "PIGGIES."
THEN I found this quote by Winston Churchill, said on this day in 1940.
"I have nothing to offer but blood, toil, tears and sweat."
So, speaking of MONEY, I'll bet it's a safe bet that's where that band got its name.
