FIVE for Friday...
More or less a "TO-DO" list...
NUMBER ONE: Meeting with classmate
Get together with Fletcher at his studio after work to figure the details of what it's going to take to pull off our two-person show at the 35th "Class of '72" Reunion at the Apollo Grill in Easthampton....
NUMBER TWO: "Vonnegut 5"
Go back into this piece and turn the contrast and moody shadowing up to eleven...
NUMBER THREE: "Red Truck"
A "cartoon" of Elvis, a soft rendering of Marilyn, a "cut-out" of the bouquet and a photo of a red truck with a brick wall that segues red to purple. The second in the Brick Window series, this pushes the combination of styles further. The next one I hope to move towards actual collage vs. the illusion of collage...
NUMBER FOUR: ARTSfest and OSX
My new computer brings a new challenge to my note card production. If it's to make the transition this year, I will have to "start from scratch" in Quark7 or InDesign. Decisions, decisions....
NUMBER FIVE: the EXPLANATION
As I promised last Sunday, I need to assemble my "explanation" to all my fans (all two of you!) who were disappointed that I had no "vacation diary." There is a reason my muse went "on vacation" too. It's a little bit involved but I owe this to you. I will make that attempt to present "my case" this weekend....
Stay tuned....Stay cool!....
