She was right.... Kelly (kellyrfineman) said she thought I was "done" with Johnny Depp--or at least very close to it--when I posted my last update.
This the DUI image I started with. This is an actual photo of layers of tracing paper with progressive drawings on each. At one point, I tore the sheet to separate the mouth, nose and eyes and taped them into place where they should line up. I rendered a final sketch over that. Then curled that layer back revealing half of the under drawing and shot this photo. In PhotoShop I pushed the "Sharpen" filter to an extreme resulting in this final image...
I printed this image and drew on and in to it with colored pencil...
