Eye of the Storm
Sometimes we hear about the outside mirroring the internal world of our Selves. That the journey, and not the destination, is the ultimate source of Life.
Other times, we are given the advice to stay still to really hear ourselves. That you cannot grow unless you come to a halt, pause, and look at where we are.
Many see this journey as a One or the Other sort of thing, but I feel that this a matter of tuning your ears, so to speak, with where your soul wants you to go.
I journey, I think, because I am seeking. I am seeking a way inside mySelf. And while I am there, there is an obsession (more like an addiction) with going deeper and deeper and deeper to discover that pure core. That knowledge of I Am.
We all have brushed against it at one point or another. And then we come back to our dramas-- our financial troubles, our romantic troubles, our desires to be recognized-- and we forget so quickly. And we will continue to until we have passed on.. or achieved enlightenment.. or we Know God. However you want to say it.
But what kind of life would it be to Live it. The great life of knowing at all times that we are pure cosmic energy. That we are both of the Source and The Source itself?
We are all journeying. Some external, some internal... and some both. We are all, whether we are intentionally doing so or not, seeking our own personal enlightenment.
And until the day the Whole Universe has become Pure Vibration again-- The Storm and the Eye-- we will continue to journey.
And I couldn't be happier.
