Checking In

I have not updated for some time. Half because I am too busy, half because I have no internet. :-) Oh well. I have twenty minutes to give some lovin now.

I have started a new job here in Boston. I am a Personal Care Attendant for a student at the Art Institute of Boston. On my days off, I go to work at the Dahn Yoga studios in the area, more specifically Arlingtons. I haven't really had a day completely to myself in over two weeks. I have been focusing on things going on around me, and I am not completely sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing. But it seems to be turning me inside out. Again, not sure if this is good or bad. : -)

I have officially dropped to 165 lbs (yay me), and I am currently organizing two fundraisers. One is going to be a very Portland style dance night, while the other is going to be a consistant art show at each of the yoga studios. All the money is going to fund next years version of what I did this summer: The Phoenix Project.

I've had all these crazy realizations since I came to Boston. Not the smallest of which is that my sight is a little stronger than I allowed myself to realize. I have so much graditude for the situation I am currently in (I have a steady job, a roof over my head, a crazy training schedule, and more than enough opportunity to grow). Creation is Not just a concept (that one blew my head wide open), There is More Than Enough Energy to Go Around, and unlike before, where everything was One, I now realize that I am indeed part of everything.

Have you ever looked at your food and realized what went into creating that food? Everything from the beginning of time came together to make that meal. Everything. (It makes you very humble to have the opportunity to eat).

Oh! And one of my biggest eye openers: All American male Masters, whether they be Tibetan or Zen Buddhist Lamas, Pagan Priests, or Dahn Masters... They are all obsessed with Star Wars.

No kidding. All of them. One of them denied it when I confronted him on the issue. He replied that he was Not obsessed... however, his ring tone sounds suspiciously like............................... the opening theme song. lol

So this weekend I went to see a stage hypnotherapist at the school, and saw fireworks for Arlington Town Day. I walked around Arlington's Town Day Fair, and handed out passes for free foot massages, and went to New Hampshire to spend the evening with a friend who has a place on an organic farm.

I tell you one thing that the west has missing is all the crickets singing their tune all night long. I missed it. I really enjoyed having the open air in the living space right above the barn. You could smell the rain coming in and hear the berries hitting the roof. It was awesome.

Okay, I have shared what I can share.

Love you all. Keep in touch.
