[ sunday afternoons are made for rest; this much had been certain back at green gables. anne and marilla would perhaps have some of the ladies of avonlea over for tea after church and everyone would be in their sunday best and so that is what anne is wearing right now. a little light blue dress with gloriously puffed sleeves

And then I wonder if the materials necessary for quilting would turn up in the shops. Hmm.

The fabric is the most important part -- and the layout thereof. I remember that much. I would hate to make a quilt that was just a muddled mess.
