[ today holds only mister scott's physics class and the brigade meeting -- this meant that anne had most of a day to herself and she was determined to get some alone time in with the rapidly thawing wilderness. she doesn't have to wrap up too warmly...just a wool cardigan over her dress and a pair of gloves tucked into a pocket just in case

They grow wild, back home. Maybe I will be fortunate enough to find a few here and transplant them.

It would be nice to think they carried lupins, wouldn't it? They are a bit of a weed back home -- but a whole field of them can be very pretty. And at sunset...! [ a light gasp caught in her throat at her own description. ]

There isn't much more beautiful than an island landscape.

[ so wistful. her home-sickness has set in. ]

Oh, wait -- how does one build an island?

To create a whole island...my, I can only assume you are far in the future like some of the others are.
