Hard to believe it's New Years already. How was your Christmas?

It was quite merry! Thank you very much for asking. Was yours good?

Yeah, it was! I spent most of it with Aqua, but finding a gift for the Secret Santa exchange was pretty fun, too.

Oh, the secret gift exchange was a definite highlight. I received the most adorable little paper chain necklace.

Oh, cool! So you got a handmade gift?

I did! And I gave one, too.

Well, handmade gifts are really neat! Even if it's extra work, I think getting a gift that's made from scratch is really special.

Back home, we rarely bought our gifts anyway. With the running of the farm and what have you, it simply made more sense to make them.

I know what you mean. My world doesn't have any stores, so all we could do was make them.

It was a lot of fun, though.

Something different every year. Usually I'd make Aqua something like a necklace or a bracelet, and I'd carve stuff outta wood for Terra.
