New Ficathon: Obandom
obandom is a ficathon inspired by the recent Agenda posted on the White House Website.
With reason to hope that the next few years will secure equal rights for all within the US, a ficathon centering on and exploring the challenges and victories we have seen and can expect to see, through fics (and even fan art) seems like a cool way to celebrate the move.
Fics could focus on the boys and girls of bandom adopting, undertaking civil unions or marriages, potentially handling 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell' in military AUs, or hate crimes from any perspective. Be imaginative.
The only rule is that where fics are relationship-centred, primary pairings must be same-sex, or alternatively the fics must handle issues directly relating to the new Agenda.
